Post a poll is a simple option during the creation of the thread.

I don't know if it can be added after the fact. Perhaps a moderator could comment.

Short of that, creating a new thread in poll format is very simple. The option is at the bottom.

Yes you can add a poll to your own topic. Click on the button you'll be able to see just at the top of your first post called 'thread tools'. You'll then get a drop down menu where you can add a poll.

p.s. it was good to meet some of you 9M guys (and Christine) for the first time today

It doesnt sound like this car is intended to be a subdued drive to the office in your business suit 911.

The quiet muted tones of the last decade are fast on their way out of popularity for (As Geoffrey calls it) the gumball colours.
Bright orange, lime green, bright red, bright yellow, etc. are back with a vengeance.

But on to more important topics:

Are you going to use the turbo rear suspension? with the longer axle shafts. etc? Or are you going to keep the original 964 suspension with spacers?

Are you thinking about welding in the turbo S vents on the rear quarters?

No, you are right Kirk, it is not an office commuter so silver is completely out!

The shell is going to be built as a proper RS, so the RS rear arms are being fitted on the back and the front end will be complete RS with the wider track spacing. Hence the turbo is going to be parted out in the next few weeks, so up for grabs will be the complete engine, gearbox, full suspension including trailing arms (excluding rack and cross/side members) and obviously the complete black leather sports interior. We will be keeping the brake parts as they are the same as the RS.

The body will be built as factory, so no vents required - it's only the turbo boys that need to see more bling.

Thanks for the instructions Steve. When you are next in, be sure to poke your head into the Skunk Works at the end of the building (aka 9m Racing) and say hello!

The turbo is, indeed, complete and near perfect, whereas next week it will be a pile of parts. You best get your camera out Rob and pay us a visit, I think this would make a good feature.

I was torn between the Signal Green and Maritime Blue... but have to agree with Geoffrey. I would tire of the green too (even though it would be very cool for a while). Maritime is just stunning and timeless.
Looking forward to following this one.

Its a shame you had to break a perfect turbo just to complete one of your projects. Couldn't you find a damaged / insurance job turbo to break apart instead? Also, did the person you bought the car off have any idea what you was going to do to it? I certainly wouldnt have sold it if I knew what would happen to it!!

Maybe it's because there a bunch fo RS cars in Sweden and many are maritime blue, but I start to think it looks a bit dull now a days. The viper green and rubystone RS-cars looks much more fresh to me!
