It looks like the seal isn't seated properly in the channel on the backside of the fin. It also looks like the fin isn't properly attached to the body. It has attachment/clipping points along the top. Are they broken?

When the shark fin is off the car, is the body work smooth without any dents? On my cabrio, I after a mechanic had worked to replace my thermostat that I had a gap. After confirming that all of the clips were attached, I removed the fin and noticed that the body panel was slightly bent. I was able to pull it out and reattach the fin. Looked good as new.
