Well, I'm back after a long break away from Rennlist. I should have just bought more plugs from Mojorizing as I now can make my own plugs as well. So I re-invented the wheel. That's what killed my entire scantool project over the winter (and work demands, business travel, family etc).
I'm going to start shipping again next week so thank you to everyone who emailed me for your patience.

Mojorizing,
Here is my 19 pin plug design. Its based upon round stock of Delrin. Its keyed and can only be inserted the proper way which is the most important thing.
It makes me appreciate all the work that you must have gone through to develop your plugs. Cause this turned out to be more challenging than I originally anticipated.

Ricardo,
Nice job! What did you use for your pins ... they appear to be the correct ones formed from rolled sheet to give some compliance to suit the sockets they fit.
I machined pins from 1/4" dia brass bar for my plug, but it would be nice to have proper pins to match the socket.

The pins are harting silver plated bullet nose pins. 2.5mm in diameter and work perfect. If you need a few let me know I can help.

I am not sure about the level of adaptation supported. There is an adaptation button on the software. I'm not a Scantool diagnostic expert as I focused on making a nice well packaged piece of hardware to support the free software. Perhaps other Rennlisters can chime in.
I know others have mentioned that they wanted the software to support idle/CO adaptation in future versions.

Ricardo-
Your ScanTool package arrived Friday.
Worked slickly. (Especially AFTER I turned the ignition to the *2nd* detent.
)
Packaged professionally w/ carrying case, CD, USB.
Nice plug you've made, there!
FWIW, I tried it on two laptops:
(Prefer the responsiveness (perversely) of the older laptop. Go figure.)
Paid for itself right off the bat...
With ScanTool I discovered a problem whose symptom I'd always palmed off (since buying the car) on the car's computer system not playing well with a LWF.
-- Wrong.
ScanTool showed I had an intermittent Idle Switch when off throttle.
A quick undercar adjustment of the throttle cable -- and now ScanTool shows a solid Idle Switch ON at idle -- and I've got one sweeeeetly running car.
No more stop sign stalls, or rpm searching!

Thanks, again!

Ag02M5,
Someone tried hooking up to a '91 turbo and only got connections to the climate control, SRS airbag, and ABS. No connection to DME probably cause its a different system than the C2/C4. Here is the post about it:

The 964 Turbo runs K Jetronic and does not have a DME ! Thats why there are no serial diagnostics for the motor.
