Default ALL CLEAR!

Well, I finally followed the herd and did the clear corners. I must say, I like it.
As mentioned in other threads, there is a difference in quality between the more and less expensive ones. These are the Dansk from Pelican and are made in Italy. They have a chrome coating in the reflective area. I had a set from another company that were around $100, but they had a silver paint instead, and the difference was obvious. I sent them back. The fit was perfect, the only small problem was that the bulb receptacle in side markers were molded blank. I had to drill the hole open. Maybe in some countries, there's no light for that fixture? Anyway, thanks for the tip, I gotta say it is an improvement.

Here's Humphrey the Humping Dog to present them (my wife says Humphrey has to live in the garage because of his "habit", so pretty much anything makes him happy):

Baby steps, baby steps... I need to replace Humphrey's cone first.

Humphrey was a gag gift from a Christmas party a few years ago. Probably the best Christmas present I ever got.
Humphrey's are everywhere. Here's a site complete with video:

Another option is to simply remove the bumperettes, have Eric at Bumperplugs paint them to match and reinstall.

I left mine on as I like the look better on a red car. Now on Blue, white and others the clear bumperettes do look better IMHO.

anyone know if you can replace the two amber lens with a solid one piece clear side marker from a 993?
Part number: 993.631.062.01? . or is the set made by dansk the only option - 10-8867-400-M350? I'm assuming the later, but i like the one piece look better if thats a possibility.

anyone know of the part number for the left side flat clear lens? I can't find a parts manual with the exploded diagram to give that to me and I've broken that one, prefer to not buy all of the lens again.

thank you!

Okay, sorry I thought that was fairly, uh, clear

The kit is made up of four lens that replace the amber ones on the front end of the car two each for the left and right side. The forward of that pair is curved, while the one which goes towards the rear of the car is flat. I'm looking for the part number to get just that left side rear most lens (Which is flat and not curved) in clear as it has been broken.

To the best of my knowledge there isn't one, because Porsche never produced clear versions of the lenses for the 964. They are all aftermarket. I know Dansk manufactures them. I've never seen them sold individually and only as a kit. They're all over ebay and typically available from all the big parts sellers (Pelican etc.)

Now that we know what you are looking for, I spend a few minutes on the web and came up with THIS . I am not sure the quality is all that good, but it is a beginning.
