Default 1992 RS CUP car for sale (#4, asking about $150k). Rare or what?

I just came across an RS CUP car for sale via Canada. I am told this is one of the rarest of the rare. How many are out there? Anyone here got one?

Can anyone confirm?

I should have added that the price is in Canadian bucks, so that is about $150k US.

I'm not sure what they mean by "RS Cup" but there are a few 964 Cup owners on here that I'm sure will chime in and explain what this car is. The car in in Germany correct?

It is not a 964 Cup car, but at most a 964 RS Competition (option M003)

Interesting. Thanks. It is a rare car, but I can't imagine it's going to sell for that price.

I have heard the term "RS Cup", but I have no idea what it means. It's either an RS, or a Cup. I think sometimes people call RS Club sport a Cup because they are so similar to a Cup. Or they call a Cup an "RS/Cup" because the Cup is based on the RS.

But really a distinction should be made. It's all based on the serial number.

Anyway, can't see the link.

As for Cup rarity, I can imagine the most rare 964 Cup was the Sportomatic one the factory made.

Is it just me or does trader.ca really suck???

I like the US version (autotrader.com)... Much more user friendly, more options to choose from, etc.

I am confused, or not, as the case might be!

The Euro 1992 and 1994 Cup cars were designated 964RS with option M001- Carrera Cup Vehicle. (M002 - Touring; M003 - "competition").
