That is going to be a cool project. What measuring system did you use to square up the front chassis? Don't forget that when you put the front suspension back on the 964RS 3.8 uses the outside mounting points in the chassis, not the inside.

I don't really what happened to this car. I bought the wreck from a salvage yard. If I had to guess though I would say that the car spun and hit some guard rails. The fenders and quarter panels took most of the impacts. The only chassis damage was the front passenger beam that extend to the bumper shocks moved about 1 cm inward.

There actually wasn't much squaring up needed. We simply used the measurements provided by the factory workshop manual to pull back the front passenger beam that was bent. All other measurements were within the specs from the manual.
Actually the front shock towers are still 993. We welded a 964 spare wheels tub section to the 993 chassis. The two front beams that extend all the way to the bumper shocks are still 993. I actually don't know if the 993 suspension has outside mounting points like the 964.

It will require different tie rods and a few other things. It will allow you to run a wider wheel in the front. The RS 3.8 came with different width wheels with different offsets.

What are your plans for the rear? Are you keeping the 993 tail lights and graft on 965 flares? or a complete rear changeout also. I am assuming you wanted the rear suspension 993 to improve handling? Its funny depending on the angle I view the 993 body I like and dislike. I never got use to the front end styling, but do think the rear is good looking. Please keep all of us informed. Jim
