The engine is a M64/01 engine which produces an advertised 300hp. I do not know how they got there and whether or not the internals are strictly M64/01 or not.
Charlie, I misspoke about it being a bias control The car has no traditional lever operated parking brake so you depress the brake pedal and pull up the valve. This keeps pressure to the rear brakes while the car is parked, essentially a parking brake. It is not a bias control as I earlier misstated, it was a long day.
The trans is a short geared trans from the 959 rally cars, so I'd imaging 120-130mph top speed. The wheels are indeed magnesium but I don't know the widths.

When I looked at the brakes, they appeared to be standard 964 fare.

Love those headers!! Why didn't they use that on the Cups - or did they. Looks similar to what SCARGO sells for the 964. I wonder if they are 1 3/4" or 1 5/8".
Anyone know if the factory tweaked the internals on the motor to achieve 300hp? I'd love to know how they did it. Or maybe just Cup Chip and headers/exhaust?

The cage is a bolt in unit and the padding says Matter on it which I though was cool. I would guess that the engine is stock 3.6 but with headers and reprogrammed ECU would get them to 300hp.

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket knockoff of that cage? Looks like it fits like a glove. The other boltins Iv'e seen (mine included) leaves all kinds of gaps.
