Hi I am new here, saving the cash, hope to buy a 964 next spring. But even the guy with the next too half a mill is beat. I don't see any mention of engine rebiuld and it has 701063 on it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=230034598409

I think it was a typo....later on, he says 70k miles.....
It'll be interesting to see how much that one fetches....the problem is....with that many miles, you'd never be able to give the thing away!
I think it will bring the same amount of money that a 120k mile car will bring. You KNOW that thing was religiously taken care of. It looks better than half of the 120k mile 964s I have seen. . .
Props to the original owner if you hapen to catch this post. These cars were meant to be driven-- and you have done exactly that. I would love to know that you had a few DE's somewhere in those half-a-million miles.
205,000 and runs good and strong. No oil smoke, no rebuilds (drips oil but has since 1996). New clutch as 120k. Mobil 1 15-50 every 5 to 7.5k, but I've let it slide since 195k. Oil pressure still pegs at 5 bar at about 3k RPM so I'm assuming that means tight clearances still.
180k, and it is up in the air on my driveway getting all new oil lines, oil cooler, shocks and springs, heating hoses, and getting its' underbody cleaned
Mines got 98K on the clock...owner before me did an early rebuild to take care of all the issues (DMF, gaskets, valve guides..etc...). 1990 C2 Targa! I really hope to see 200K before the next top end rebuild.
My 93 C2 has covered 115k, with a new clutch at 80k. I'm the 5th owner. The forth keeper owned it the longest and accumulated the greatest percentage of the total miles, 90k between 1997 and 2006 and came with full and complete main dealer service history.
