Rob - Just curious, what kind of rebuild has it had? Top end? Bottom end too?
None. My engine has not had any top nor bottom end work. I have had to replace the DMF and had a distributor belt break but otherwise the engine has been very reliable. Knock on wood.

Now that is something I like to hear, gives all of those who like the 964 something to aspire to. Except I have no time to put another 100k miles or I would.
I do have questions. What kind of oil consumption is it doing right now? Does it feel pretty strong still or do you baby it?

bought mine with 169000 miles on it. I know it is up to 190000 now but I did rebuild it (and it needed it).

I feel much better now as my turbo has 133k on it. I thought i was the only high mileage guy around.....doesnt leak a single drop of oil and runs perfect.

Jerry, I know it's been said many times and many ways: I love your avatar, man. They may not make Boeing 717's or Porsche 964's anymore, but I hope they never stop making those.

Mine just clicked over 142k this weekend and the engine is still a virgin - No top/bottom end rebuild and runs just great.

Way to keep those cars running, guys.

I'm curious as to what the interiors look like after 120K miles or more. Anyone have pics?

Especially the driver's side seat bolsters. That's one place where I would bet the RS America has an advantage over the regular C2's in terms of long term wear.... Cloth seats instead of leather! Mine is at about 138K and the driver's seat still shows almost no wear.

My interior is actually pretty good - although not perfect. But the drivers bolster is very worn - and even has a small hole in it now. Recover is on the list of things to be done.

My interior is in remarkable shape. 111k miles. Seat bolsters are fine. It was one thing that drew me to the car. to me how the interior is taken care shows how much the car meant to the previous owner. I theorize that will also be reflected in the care of the other things you cant easily see.

But its just my theory.

Ah - but once I've had mine recovered - does it mean I (and previous owners) took better care of my car?

Here is my interior. It looks better in person. No cracks or wear on the seats or dash. A little TLC goes a long way. I still have the original "dimpled" floor mats under the other mats and they look great as well.
