Default First Porsche

Just bought my first 964. It should arrive in a week or two. In the meantime I plan to get to know the members of the community and learn something about my purchase ( I'm sure I will have plenty of questions in the weeks to come). I have been a Bimmer Z Roadster driver up until this point. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Here's a pic of the car.

Welcome! It looks like a great car. Can you tell us more about it? What year is it? How many miles? Does it have any mods? Do you plan on keeping it as is or making changes?

The car is a 90 C4. It was modified to 3.8 RS specs by Champion Racing in 2000. I'll post more pics.

I'm located in Newburg Indiana ( southwest...next to Evansville). Also need to contact the local pca representative. Does anyone know the closest branch? Bob

Welcome, get that thing to the track!! As far as PCA goes, just join on the National site and they will hook you up with your local region.

Not sure but I'll let you know more after it arrives. Fortunately S Indiana has alot of wide open country roads...you can see for miles all around..flat and open with good asphalt. I ran my ZM3 flat out on those roads and had a ball. It did have a TC Kline Dual adjustable coilover suspension though...at around 130 mph the nose got twitchy. I hope I dont have that problem with the 964. Bob

Also joined PCA today. This is a very friendly community. I can't wait until the next local Rally event. Fun to cruise with like minded individuals. Bob
