Russ,

If you can make the SE meet at Raymonds this Sunday it would be great to see you and the car. The details are on this thread (https://rennlist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=266182).

Regards

Dave

Another real RS, nice. If you ever get that thing on a scale, let us know what it weighs.

Great car, very rare piece.

The 290 model year 1992 "M003 Competition" versions have VIN numbers with a 9 as the thirteenth and fourteenth digits reserved for them in the range: WPOZZZ96ZNS4 9 9001 to 9290.

Your VIN should be in ther range above.

Does it have the front bumper beam removed?
Are the wheels 8 and 9.5 Aluminum or 7.5 and 9 Magnesium?

Interesting the car has ABS, in his book Adrian Streather claims the N/GT's didn't have ABS .

Where did you find it?

Also, can you post your DME box #? Both the Porsche and Bosch part #'s, please...

Great looking car. Too bad we can't get these models here and drive them on the street. Very nice indeed.

As others have said, I too wish we could purchase and drive these models in the states. That is quite a machine. Is the front splitter an original Porsche piece or aftermarket?

Actually I found it to be both. The front spoiler is Porsche Tequipment part number A.000.043.300.00.

I ordered one, it was around $500 in England at a Porsche dealer several years ago and when I received it I was surprised to find that it was made by Tech-Art, so they probably have it as well.

For sure it has, mine is WPOZZZ96ZNS499202.

Personally, I'm not sure about the colour though, it's pink isn't it!?!?!
Please, don't call it that way
