Looks like a potato was used to wax the car as well, the paint (what you can see of it) looks pretty poor.
I never understand why anyone would list their Porsche with Mecum. Typically you want your car in front of as many interested buyers as possible to create the bidding war that drives the price up. Their rooms are full of people who are interested in Cudas and Chevelles, not Porsches.
I trust it. No radio? no a/c, sunroof delete probably. Looks like very low miles. Passenger pull strap looks like it's never been pulled. Older owner from the looks of it. 2 owner car?
This rare bird will be going up for sale at the Pebble Beach Gooding and Company auction next month. A 964 Speedster “turbo look”. Only 20 of these cars were made at Porsche Exclusive. One of the rarest 964’s.
Gooding just published the estimate. They are saying between $1.2-$1.5 million for this. 🤯
While I like this wide body better than a “normal” narrow body Speedster I don’t consider myself a Speedster guy. Plus this wide body Speedster is 7-8 times more than an equivalent narrow body example which is just beyond insane.

Guys, I'm actually building a lightweight turbo bodied speedster out of a rough 93 cab. Gonna have a 4.2L water cooled Mezger engine with ITBs and 489 wheel. And weigh about 2500. Should be fun.
Mine was a Factory 94 Speedster. 450hp low G50-52 geared. The market didn't give me anything for it. Branded title. No miles. Rare oem parts. I should have converted her back to stock as I think it scared most buyers. Yes, Huge mistake selling her.
The sold page is from when they previously had it in inventory. Hatch have not yet put the new listing on their website, it should be posted next week.
56k-mile Guards Red ROW 964 RS on Pcarmarket. Harnesses would lead me to believe this one has been on track a good amount. Also has had a radio fitted.
