Does anyone know of another aftermarket manufacturer that builds a RSA/carrera tail that has a little more relief at the mounting area under the spoiler. The factory RSA and Carrera spoilers look a little less hefty from the profile view, and I slightly prefer that look with the narrow body. Perhaps the profile differs because of the different decklid openings that they mount to?

Thanks,

Hi Jon, thanks for the thumbs up.

DP Motorsport make a single piece one which may have a slight difference. https://www.dp-motorsport.de/en/prod...spoiler-sc-rs/

How is DP for quality when it comes to wings? Looking for something for my project and was thinking RSR 3.8 - I see they have one of those, too.

It appears Tom's wing is made to fit onto a 964 deck lid using the motorized wing opening. The RSA or Gbody carrera wing uses the older style G-body deck lid and adapters.

The 3.8RSR wing is a single piece lid and bi-wing from the factory. Although bolt on aftermarket versions are available.

Hi Jeff,

I would say their quality must be good given their heritage.

Cheers,

Tom

Buddy recently got this 964. It's a Dutchmann build from South Africa.

Hi, it's actually a bespoke shade of grey. Hue changes depending on the light.. you can see more details on the link below where it looks different again.

Cheers,

Tom

Beautiful build Tom. Not to pry into personal expenses but any idea what one of those costs?

Today these are a $200k+ build, I don't know what this one originally cost considering it was earlier on in the Dutchmann story.

Cheers,

Tom

Thanks. I sorta figured in the $3XX (USD) range for a USA destined car, but since Singer has raised their prices assumed most other had as well. Even if you figure $200 + donor car + plus shipping and customs, it has to be pretty high. The results are sure nice though, and this one just blends in to the background. Only someone "in the know" would likely recognize this jewel for what it is.

Does having the sunroof open increase oversteer?
