I noticed he came into a few different threads saying how much he didn't like the cars. This guy must be a real aesthetic genius. Hopefully he will post a picture of his car so we can all be in awe.

Mr. Wolfe
Haha, funny. It actually is quite the opposite. I am certainly not an aesthetic genius (great choice of words by the way), but I do have a strong opinion on form follows function.
I guess I should be more precise. The car looks great, but my criticism is the way the car is slammed. I falsely assumed that was clear with the ricer remark.
As a suspension purist (again, no genius), I cringe when I notice a car that is lowered beyond what makes sense from a geometric perspective. In my opinion that is tyically done when looks take precedence.
But perhaps you are right, and I should keep my opinion for myself and not share it here.
Attached a picture of my car.

I guess I just don't get why someone would come into a "picture thread" and feel the need to say you don't like the car. I get the whole function over form thing, but not everyone tracks their cars. When I bought my 964, it had previously been tracked for 20 years. I pulled the roll bar out, sold the GT3 seats and re-installed the rear seats. As it sits now, it is more form over function for ME as I get more use out of the car now. Just a different perspective I guess. BTW, nice cars.
I would never lower my 964 to under ~RS height, for performance reasons, as the more you go low, the more you have issues with anything sticking out of tarmac. But that's because a performance setup, required for my use of the car (tracking or losing license, not sure which one lately) is also a static setup. Vegas993 has probably an airlift suspension system, which means he can ride low or normal if he wants. Which makes the car... well just drive normal. Not sure original Boge's at stock ride height are performing better than any modern airlift suspension at same ride height, so why not.
But what I can say is I dig the looks although would probably find it even better looking at RS height but the white 64 with RS ducts, Ruf lip and orange turn signals works beautifully to me.
Dipped my beat up track wheels, and also a test to see if I wanted to change my street wheels. Silver wheels on a silver-ish car is way too much for someone who is not a fan of silver.
Sirenty - I "dipped" the wheels on my previous 964 black also. Thought it was going to be temporary, but ended up keeping it black for years. I totally forgot about brake dust...
I'm a huge fan of the MY02 wheels, especially in black. Looks mean!

That looks great! I think you and I share the same thoughts about silver. I don't mind the silver on my car, but I just love bold colors on the 911.
My car is on H&R Deep coilovers that are custom made by H&R in Germany. I’ve driven 600 miles from Las Vegas to California several times. Personally, I see no point in tracking a street car but that’s my choice. My car is built for me with nothing but quality parts from mostly German companies. There are lots of different styles of tuning, i’ve heard the same dissertation plenty of times by people like the two of you that don’t get it. The reality is, my car is a few turns of the coilovers and a set of tires away from being track ready. And for the record, I would never bag a 911.
If I bought a brand new one, i’d order it exactly how I wanted it and leave it stock too.

It's your car and you're happy with it, who cares what others say
