Default X-Post from my massive garage sale

All parts are in US$ as listed. PayPal only and PayPal fees (3%) for any item(s) over $100.

Buyer pays for shipping, any duty, and taxes. I don't make money on shipping and usually round down so please don't ask me to take a loss by shipping for free.

First buyer who sends me a PM (not posts in this thread) and commits to buy (not ask a question, express interest, request a shipping quote, etc) gets it.

I have a day job but I'll ship as soon as I can, usually by Expedited Post Office, insured and with a tracking number. I can claim things are gifts but cannot insure them for more than the expressed value. I'll try to combine any items to reduce shipping, if possible.

Fitment is the responsibility of the buyer - I'll try to help but I may be wrong. I guarantee that all items are accurately represented. No returns/refunds unless item was grossly misrepresented or DOA so please be sure the item fits and fits your needs.

Items that are sold have been deleted.

WOW, that's quite a list of parts FOR SALE there Marc!

That reminds me, I found another crate full of small parts I took pics of the other night and will be listing several items here shortly.

Meanwhile, I also discovered that I own THREE heat exchangers, that means I have 1.5 sets! Anyone wants one or both, drop me a line. I'll have to re-edumakate myself as to which ones are right and left - $100 each.

Here is the original catalytic converter/O2 sensor I removed from my 964, shortly after purchase. I have all of the heat shield pieces as well. $100

Size: 79.0 KB

I still have a factory ECU that I'll sell with factory chip or with the Autothority chip that's in it at the moment, setup for LWF (you don't have to have a LWF to use the chip, just an option) and performance exhaust, it's a very conservative burn that adds 10-12hp. - $500

Name: ECUAutothorityII.JPG

Size: 75.7 KB

I also dusted off a 16" spare, out of a 964 Turbo, designed to fit over BIG Red calipers - $150, it's 34lbs boxed up, ready to ship.

Name: 964 16inch Spare.JPG

Front compartment plastics. If I recall these pieces are all the way up front and kind of hide the jack? Great condition - $25

Name: PlasticsFrontCompartment.JPG

Size: 78.6 KB

Slightly used AC condenser bracket. I had replaced this with a NEW bracket after an accident but never remounted the condenser on it...you can still see the stickers. I completely removed AC components shortly thereafter. This mounts opposite the oil cooler, left side. - $35

Name: ACCondensorBracket.JPG
Views: 516
Size: 106.6 KB

High and Low pitch horns, with factory bracket, removed from my 964, working condition - $50

I also have a separate low pitch horn I bought because I thought one was bad, turned out it was a relay. $25

Buyer pays shipping, I only charge actual shipping when possible and package all of my items using "recycled" boxes/packaging. I am quite adept at shipping and like to use Fedex Ground as, to date, they remain the most reliable and cost effective route.

All items for sale are in good to great condition, unless otherwise noted...all parts are usable. Parts were either removed from my 1991 964 or purchased as spares for racing/repairs, etc.

***I am open to reasonable offers, especially if you'd like multiple items. If I'm "way off base" from what you think is reasonable, feel free to contact me to discuss, I'm easy...I just need room for more Cayman parts!! ...and 944T stuff as well, please don't ask WHY. Haha.

Here are a few more items, I'll be adding pics and items to this post as I go through them.

Interior "push" lights - $15

Lower dashboard, complete with brackets/hardware, glove box insert, door, latch, etc. - $175

Someone on here said this was a cruise control "brain"? Comes with floor pan intact, this mounts in factory position underneath passenger seat and is also where the factory amplifier and alarm/ignition lock out module is.
Please feel free to correct me (via PM) if you think I am in error with regards to the blue module in the pic. - $50

Windshield Washer Bottle - $25
You know you need one.

Name: WasherBottle (Medium).JPG

Collapsible Oil Drain Tube, I bought two but only changed out the one nearest the large oil line at the bottom of the crankcase. If you need to change that line out or merely tighten it in the hopes that it'll stop a leak at that fitting, you will likely have to remove the factory non-collapsible unit and use this trick two-piece aluminum unit, this one is new, still packaged - $38 (they're $48 from the supplier).

Name: OilDrainTubeCollapsible.JPG
Views: 514
Size: 71.2 KB

Power Steering Components. I believe this to be the most complete (but not installed) power steering setup for a 964 in all the land. You get the pump, mounting bracket, pulley, hardware, plastic guard, fluid reservoir and a fairly new belt. I would prefer to sell the whole shebang. - $150

Name: PowerSteeringComponents.JPG

Buyer pays shipping, all items working/great condition when removed from my 1991 964.
I take Paypal and most other forms of payment...help me clear out my extra parts this Winter!!

***UPDATE 11/26/12 - Lower dash panel/hardware/glove box parts have been tentatively claimed...also, updated (lowered) price on oil return tube so it's a "bargain" - they're $48, I'll go $38 plus shipping (padded envelope will suffice).

Adding a few more items for today, have had some interest and will remove pics/descriptions as parts sell/committed to.

Right Rear Bumper Corner, tabs for heat shield intact, tailpipe outlet has typical "melted" section. I usually cut around the opening for larger tailpipes, perfect for upgraded exhaust conversion and/or track car. - $60

Aluminum Battery Tray - designed for Optima Dry Cell Batteries, also use to mount other types by drilling appropriate hole(s). This unit slides right under factory battery tab in front compartment and has hole for hold down bolt. Works like a champ, used it for several years. - $35
Name: BatteryTray.JPG
Views: 491
Size: 57.1 KB

Left and Right Front Fender Liners. Factory units in decent/usable condition, some tire rub wear in common area. Your front factory fender liners are comprised of two pieces per side, both of these are the forward pieces. - $25 each.

LEFT (Driver's Side) is SOLD!!

Name: FrontLRFenderLiners (Medium).JPG
Views: 449
Size: 61.3 KB

Front Fender Well Block Off Plate, right side. Held on by two screws - $5
Name: FenderLinerPlate (Medium).JPG
Views: 443
Size: 33.1 KB

Transmission Undertray, Plastic. This is the most forward section of the undertray. Even if you remove the engine undertray, you want to keep this piece in place...it actually provides nice underbody aero and my transmission temps ran noticeably cooler with it installed. I have knocked the "ears" off this one for easier install/removal on a track car. It does not affect the mounting. - $25
Name: TransmissionTrayPlastic.JPG
Views: 442
Size: 57.4 KB

PM or email if interested...again, if you think I'm "way off base" with respect to asking price, I'm open to negotiation, contact me via email or PM...it's easier for me to email.

jefcATmindspringDOTcom - remove "AT" and "DOT", replace with appropriate characters.

Jeff
Do you and Marc live in large warehouses?
Where do you guys find room to store this stuff and its only the things you want to get rid of not the really good stuff you want to keep?

Haha, I think Marc may have me beat for "AWESOME" parts, I'm just going through years worth of parts I've stored for my 964 racing effort. I've also bought out friend's projects, racing parts, safety gear, etc. I still have tons of racing seat brackets, harness parts, seat back braces...it's crazy.

To answer the warehouse question, it was crazy, I moved from a 1600sq. ft. house with a PACKED attic and 12 x 12 storage shed on the side and fit ALL of my spare parts in the loft of a 32 x 30, 2 level "shop" that was built behind our new house. I never really organized anything but thankfully did build some large warehouse style shelving with a nail gun and materials "borrowed" from other build sites.
(seriously, friends with the builder and construction crew, I had full run of this neighborhood until other houses came about). I'm almost at capacity and have changed course a bit with buying and finishing a Cayman S "ITC" build and have taken to working on other people's project cars as well. About half the parts I store aren't even mine anymore!

Hey guys, just spent the last hour helping a friend with a 1990 C4, his passenger window became dislodged and his Fiance kept hitting the electric window button up and down, which in turn bent up the mechanism.

For any of you that have stripped out your doors for a track car, etc. I'd like to get him a passenger window with the bottom metal piece still crimped on (his was rusted and appears to have lost it's crimp/clamping force) and maybe the "X" (scissors) mechanism as his is now bent up a bit.

What caused this is the center rail of the window frame was not installed properly after getting the car repainted a few years ago. I have some pieces to order for that as well.

UGH.

If any of you have a passenger door window with the crimped piece still intact, we need that at a minimum. Thanks!

You can buy the part that crimps onto the window with the rubber insert separately (I replaced my rusty one a few years ago) and re-use the same glass (use dishwashing liquid to the the new crimped bit/rubber on).

I have electric x-arms (lifts) for sale.....

Default WTB: Open Airbox for a 1990 964

Hey guys. I don't want to drill mine. I want to keep it stock and get a backup. Anyone have an old air box cover that I can drill or an already drilled or open one I can buy off them? I'm in Sherman Oaks, California.

Thanks!

Oh, I'm also looking for a switch plate on the console. The one that holds the hazard, Central Lock and Alert switches.
