Burgass,
This appears to be a fairly stiff setup. The progressive-rate springs and shock bodies look similar to my RS parts but the springs definitely look stiffer than mine:
ebay item:
The things I don't like about this auction are the brief description, absence of part numbers and missing rear monoballs. It appears that the front strut mounts are monoballs but the ad doesn't say so.
For $1,250 (starting price) you can buy Bilstein HD shocks and replacement springs. This set might qualify as a really good buy if you get both sets of monoballs. Those usually run $1K for a complete set. I'm not sure how much Carrera Cup parts run new. Anyone?
Thanks for the heads up.

They do look like Bilsteins but not Carrera RS or Cup which were different. The original Cup versions were not green and had "Cup" in white lettering on the springs. This I remember from my Cup cars.

If you read my book you will see some of the problems facing you. The 1990 model yearis not compatible with this suspension set up at the rear.
There is a 1990 Cup suspension system but I have never seen one come on the market.

Adrian.

Thanks Adrian. I did read your book and found the difference, just wondering if I can change the top mounts only to accomodate later suspension. Looks like it's not that simple. Should go back and read it again!
Seems I have to find another solution for my suspension.

It is not simple at all you are talking about making structural changes. I will not even go into some of the solutions I have seen used because in my opinion they are dangerous. You are talking just the difference between model year 1990 and 1992 but also a suspension geometry change and these springs and struts/shocks are significantly shorter.
Designed for a car which uses a different suspension set up as compared to standard.
Look in Chapter 1 under the RS and this will give you some idea.

Patrick,
You may have read already the article at http://www.porsche964.co.uk/technical/rs_suspension.htm that describes the fitting of the Carrera RS suspension to a 1990 C2. That should give you an idea of what's involved.

I have seen several original 964 Cup suspensions and that looks correct but it's missing the rear monoballs. What is pictured would be correct for the European Carrera Cup racing version, not the Carrera RS or 1992 Cup USA in street trim.

Also missing the rear upper spring mounts (spring perches).
Spring rates high enough that a roll cage is required to eliminate chassis flex.
These are not parts one would want on a street car.

hey guys, i just sold my 1990 C2 and the new owner didn't want the H&R Supercup Suspension kit that i had boxed up. it's not heavily used (previous owner put it on for auto-x and then took off). if anyone is interested, just PM me.
original cost was 3800 us.
Cheers,
Kyle.
