Hi Kahdmus,

If I understand you own a 1989 C4. One general information for you.
Form the 1991 model on, all 911 Carrera cars have the rear-axle spring strut mounts recessed by 22mm. Of course, some other parts are different such as the rear axle spring.

Therefore springs from a 1989 and 1991 are already different, so don't expect 993TT springs to fit correctly

Hi Peter, how's the cold? All better I hope!

I'll try to grab some pics today. Weather here has been thick fog all week so far (means the rest of the Bay Area is probably bathing iin glorious sunshine!!Grr..) so not the best time for photo ops. I may take the kids out for a spin this afternoon, so I'll take the camera along just in case. I actually feel like the back is slightly low, but looking at pics online, others look very similiar. Do you have any level, horizontal profile shots of yoiur car you could post? I know you have the same setup and would like to compare the final result.

Thanks, the cold is finally gone after one miserable week. Kinda miss that NyQuil feeling.

Here's a side view of my car. My alignment specs were dialed to those of the Euro RS (Bruce Anderson's book). I can post the numbers tonight if you need them. Remember to get your car 4-wheel aligned and corner balanced.

Form the 1991 model on, all 911 Carrera cars have the rear-axle spring strut mounts recessed by 22mm. Of course, some other parts are different such as the rear axle spring.
Can someone tell me whether the spring strut mounts from the early 964's can be replaced with the recessed ones from the later cars, or is this part of the welded chassis?

I believe you can change the upper strut mounts. The pet shows three different upper mounts with one being for the rs. This may give you the lower ride height you are looking for on your 993
