Talking

Howard, where did you install the hydraulics?

How high can you get it to jump?

You would be right at home in "da hood"

Seriously, I bet it handles like an indy car.

Good luck and keep us posted,
Colin

Oh, my! I've never seen a Porsche low-rider before. I guess it's one of those "Only in California" things.

I bet it's much easier to get in and out of - all you have to do is roll.

Thanks for the welcome to the board. Love it already.

The car is sweet! - If you could make it bounce up and down you would be a hit out in LA.

That has to break your heart.

Now that's better. How about Paris-Dakar for our next weekend drive?

Yup 3rd time Brian! Received an email telling me that my new springs ship out today. I expect to have them in at the earliest this weekend or at the latest next week.

Well, it appears 3rd time lucky! They seemed to have a hard time adjusting the camber and doing the alignment took a long time however.

I have the alignment report (haven't really looked at or tried to understand it yet) and may scan and post it later on.

So far she seems to handle like a completely different car. I just went for a 25 minute drive and took some bends faster than I would have 24 hours ago....handled like she was on rails! The biggest improvement I noticed however was that the steering seemed so much more responsive when cornering. Excellent upgrade, even if it took a ton of money, pain and sweat!

Surf Twang better look out on our next little adventure..!!!!

Congrats Howard
Glad to hear that you got everything worked out. When in doubt, just throw some money at it and the problems seem to go away.

I think a picture collage is due... you know...before and after and after pictures

enjoy the ride,
Colin

I second that emotion. Let's see some pics. Since we felt your pain (and cracked frequent jokes) we deserve to see how she turned out!
