Yet another 964 restomod - Tedson Motors
One of my coworkers just shared this

To each their own, I guess. More 964s slipping away.

I was contemplating selling mine and as soon as I had a buyer at full asking he told me that the plan was to RWB it... I can't let that happen to Stella. So, she stays!

Dreadful.

I wish these companies would stop using the 964, its not like they’re reasonably priced anymore.

Shocking with those long oval headlights and the types of body mods they made, that they didn't use the 993 as the base car. Much better car to start with, and they would end up just as easily with that same body.
No comment on the styling. Restomod 964 aren't my thing....but i do wish the guys that do it would grow up and use the "better car" which of you are going to change the entire body anyway, is the 993.

Styling aside (not my cup of tea) how are they able to offer a C-4 automatic option?

I am a bit confused. I was under the impression these were built off the 993? I have had ample time to look over #1 closely. I think everyone by now knows my opinion on these builds. This is no different.
AFAIK this is built off a 993. I was asked not to post any detailed photos but I have looked it over carefully and still walk away asking why chop up some of the best cars ever made? Irrespective of the end result which I will limit my comments about.
So unless they changed their direction after #1 there is something that doesn't add up. Screams 993 from what I

I don’t get it. I love the look of the nb 964. When I feel like something different, my 991.2 tt comes out of the garage. I think the modern 911s are beautiful. I see and feel the family resemblance, but the 991 and 964 are not similar driving experiences.. Both are great. Why create a confabulation?

Yea, I was pretty sure these were 993 cars that were chopped up. Not a very good look. I can't imagine the $$$ element it takes to start a project like this where the market may be very limited.

If you didn't tell me it was based on a 964 I wouldn't have guessed that first. Looks more like a 991 Turbo with a body kit or something.
I know I'm preaching to the choir, but the 964 coupe is a gorgeous car. I don't get why people feel the need to change it fundamentally to a different car.

This says 964.
No mention of 993.
As far as I'm concerned, chop as many of those ugly froggy 993 as you want. (Sorry to all 993 guys that have to suffer me).
Leave the 964 alone. Enough already.
