AC drainage
I've been getting to know my 964 more now that we are driving it daily. Tiptronic is still misbehaving, but will go in the shop again next week for another try.
In the meantime, I was just driving barefoot and after a sharp right turn, I felt water droplets on my accelerator foot. I'm wondering if the evaporator drainage needs attention, or is this a typical behavior when AC is running in a high humidity environment.
You will need to pull the fuel tank to reach the lines.
If you are up for the project, I recommend you go all the way; remove the suitcase, open it up and replace all the foam seals on the dampers. It would also be a good time to replace your evaporator and expansion valve.
With the fuel tank out, you can replace the strainer in the tank, both fuel lines and vapor line that goes from the rollover valve on the expansion tank to the hard line going back to the engine bay.
This doubles the size of the project but all the foam and rubber in a 964 is disintegrating by now so it's all due to be replaced.

It's going into the shop for the next phase of trans work. maybe I can have them do a rough clean out and see how long that lasts. I would have thought you could run a hose up in reverse to clear it out some. Is this a bad idea?

Beyond that, I'm not convinced that you have a problem here. You asked whether this is normal and to a certain extent it is. In very humid weather your evaporator is shedding literally gallons of water. Sometimes there is too much for the drain to handle all at once. It's common to have some condensate sloshing around in the AC plenum especially if you're driving in a spirited manner where the condensate is being forced away from the drain.
If you're getting a good puddle under the car when it's parked, and you don't have water overflowing the floor outlets in normal driving then I wouldn't be too concerned. As others have pointed out, this could become a huge amount of work.
