Default I think I need professional help ;)

So call me crazy and get me to the shrink, but I just pulled the trigger on yet another Porsche and yet another 964. Like 8 Porsche's and 4 964's is too many. LOL Matt from GT was kind enough to send me the link and I just couldn't pass. It is a 91 C4 that was converted by Dan Jacobs 15 years ago to a C2 track car. It has all the bones I was looking for but is in rough shape. A perfect candidate for my needs and I'm not chopping up a good car.

When I looked the pictures over I couldn't resist. The car was originally Cobalt blue over black which is a rare combo and just sealed the deal. They never painted the interior bits so that is all still cobalt and it is wearing an NNJR DE sticker. I am surprised I never saw this car at the events since it ran in the same black/white run groups my wife and I drive in but I have been out of the loop this past year. My current track build is taking a lot of time and effort. I am currently finishing up the exhaust and the work involved with running coolant to the turbos and the oil lines is a slowing things down. Finding the right path and making all the custom bits takes stupid amounts of time to do properly.

So for now it will be inspected and used as is for a second track car. Once my other track car is finished this will be the foundation for my street 3.8RS build I have been dreaming of doing. I have almost every part I need to do the job but this will stay as is once the other projects are done this will be on the block. Should be an epic build one day.

I will post more pics once it arrives next week.

Congrats, @cobalt Anthony!! I do not think we all can get enough of the Porsches, or 964s.

Everybody needs a spare track car. If you don't wreck one from time to time, you're not trying hard enough.

Congrats Anthony, nice to see you finally found the project car you’ve been after. So the big question, will you change it back to Cobalt for your build?

I bet that's Tim Costa's old car. I remember the person he sold it to painting it white.
