selling a car with these issues without disclosing them won’t go over smoothly with the porsche community.
This seller is a perfect example of buying the seller. In this case, RUN as far away from the seller.

It doesn’t even make sense to list a car with pictures taken by the prior owner. A lot could have changed between then and now, and if it’s in better shape now current photos would easily prove that.

Yup, i know this car from last year when it was for sale on craigslist and facebook market place. This car is in rough shape.
hey shawn, dont DM me saying i made the craiglist beware post. And i clearly didnt make THIS Rennlist post.
You say you have a buyer. Awesome for you and sadly terrible for the new potential owner.
Btw it takes MORE than 4 months of ownership to remove all the rust. You aint fooling any of us.

LOL if you claim to have done a full resto on the car and are only selling it for 60k then you must be a very generous man willing to take a huge hit. We weren’t born yesterday. GTFOH and take your scamming business elsewhere

Even the photos in the current Ebay auction look like there's rust on the front lower fenders. There are too many 964s around to guess about this one.

Seller went so far as rebuilding old shocks. Breaks are no longer broken. And "God it is fast!"

I mean it is OBO. Best offer can't be more than 10-15k. And frankly, even at 15k, I'd probably be parting it out cause the repairs could go over 50k pretty easily (depending on your ability to do any of the work yourself) and then you're getting upside down pretty fast.

It's too easy to pile on, but can't resist.
I'm sure it's just the lighting!
"and the funny thing is there was no rust on or around the windshield, or the doors jams..."

Maybe just call the seller and ask about the car, his info and phone number are in the Craigslist ad. I texted asked if there was rust the first day, and he said “no rust” lol
his description says “car was completely restored , everything on it”
Obvious bold lie.
I guess when they totally restored it they used rusty old screws to hold in body panels.

Lipstick on a pig comes to mind.

Well at least anyone here will know not to buy from this seller, clearly a dishonest person trying to pawn off a rust bucket to the unsuspecting buyer.
