Default So Good

Had the pleasure of taking the RS America out today with temps in the low 50's.

Its remarkable just how well behaved the car is as it works it's way over constantly varying road surfaces- the Ohlins no doubt do a tremendous job handling compression/rebound while maintaining grip.

The engine has gotten markedly stronger as the break in period has been extended and robust.- about 4000 miles post rebuild w itbs and guard lsd.

the lsd is fully broken in at this point, and the driving experience has improved considerably as the car has found the perfect balance between modulating slip and grip.

next item- new uprights and brake upgrade

LMAO. Fleets Cove Beach... I live just down the road in Northport. Spent many days at Fleets Cove Beach in my youth. In particular, in and on Fleets Cove pond. I'll keep my eye out for this beauty. I have a GPW C2.

appreciate the kind words- I owe it all to RL and the Porsche community at large- through their collective expertise and spirit of sharing
( Ninemeister/ Jae Lee to name a few) and a lesson or three in patience - she came together just right!

Thanks again for the education & inspiration--- whose next????

Love the variation in metal colors and material finishes. With those green giants and + double the flow, do you find yourself + or - 3.8 bar in the fuel press?
