Default Anyone have access to free car faxes?

As the title says I'm just wondering if anyone has an account for an unlimited car fax and could run a VIN for me. If not, no big deal I can always get one myself but figured I'd try this route first. This would be for a car that a friend is offering me. I don't really have the room but because he sold his house to us and my current neighbor across the street was the owner of the Porsche from 86-2010 makes me interested in seeing if I can make it work. It's an 85 targa. Here's the VIN if anybody can help me out.

Thanks!

Load the MyCarFax app on your smart phone. It's free and may tell you some of what you're looking for. Essentially, what you are asking is against Rennlist's Forum rules. Good luck. Just trying to help you.

Ok. I didn't realize it was against the rules. I've seen it done here before but I guess that doesn't necessarily mean it was ok.

No problem. I'm just trying to help. And offer you a quick easy option, that might prove beneficial.

Everything looks good, no accidents or issues.

Thanks! It's listed as convertible on Carfax while it's actually a targa. I'm assuming that's probably the case with all Targas right? They probably fall under the convertible listing?

You’re welcome. that’s normal, Targa is always listsed like that.
