Don't let anyone know Ace Frehley retired in Greenville. Keep that one to yourself.

Not anywhere near $55k (plus there is no mention that it's a track car.)

I'd take this RS if I was looking for a track car any day.

anyone have a lead on this car? the original poster seems to be a basher and has unrealistic expectations since i saw his thread on several different forums bashing carbone a respected company, i bet the car in question isn't as bad or is priced right.

I'm a "basher" with unrealistic expectations ??

So when you ask a seller if the car has any rust or any paint issues at the bottom of the windshield and he says "absolutely not" - is that me setting my expectations unrealistically or the person who lied to me ???
I'm happy to give you the sellers contact info, you sound like the perfect person for that car

EDIT- here, why don’t you tell me if you’d be upset if you asked all tbe right questions then found this:

Lorenzoh has a legit beef, I don’t see anything wrong with his post and calling out the seller. If the seller were up front about the cars condition then so be it, but clearly things were left out.

Looks like the scumbag owner has chosen BAT to pawn this piece of trash off now. Not surprised

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...11-carrera-23/

edit-
ill also add that the cams in the BAT listing (which is wrong) are 993 cams. And the engine was recently rebuilt after a “money shift” / over rev by the owner while on track that bent multiple valves. I have the build sheet and invoice to repair the motor if any wants it. Car has spent much of its life at the track and the new interior/carpet ( which is now probably almost 7 years old) was put in to hide the roll cage previously installed.
Pull the carpet up and you will find the holes drilled through the body of the car and plenty of rust. Look closely at the center console trim and you will see sloppy finish on the leather wrapping at the top (triangle pieces sticking out) as well as poorly fit carpeting around the drivers pedal box and especially around the trunk release lever.

I love the 900+ foot pounds of torque. Maybe it is a turbo diesel. LOL

Sounds like a Pelican seller I flew to NC from CA to buy his 930.

Full scumbag.

He represented car as original paint and included a PPI he had done. Come to find out his buddy was a service manager at local Porsche Dealership and lied for him. I outed him with the owner of the store through PCA. Dont know if anything ever happened, but I tried.

My PPI, which i flew in to supervise showed 3 of 4 corners had been resprayed. Worse, you could see the fresh overspray on quarter windows. Didnt show in pictures.

Still worse, he had sprayed bed liner under the entire car, including under the fenders. PPI revealed rust in spots covered by spray.

Is the paint really original on this black car? The pictures are very dark and doctored which makes it impossible to really assess the cars cosmetic condition.
