Hadn't realized Fikse do a Fuchs Replica
Zuffenhaus and Fikse are pleased to offer faithfully scaled reproduction of the original Fuchs* wheel for your Porsche. Zuffenhaus has teamed with FIKSE Motosports to significantly reduce manufacturing and delivery times for this custom made, limited volume product. Take advantage of modern tire selection and enjoy the traditional Stuttgart aesthetic for your more current Porsche automobile. These 3 piece wheels have a blind fastened forged center and retain the classic good looks of the originals they pay tribute to.
Available in 17″ and 18″ in a wide variety of fitments for early and late Porsche applications. Now available in both Soft Lip (true to the original Fuchs* aesthetic) and Standard Lip – for those more motorsports-oriented applications where maintaining the utmost Fuchs-aesthetic is secondary. Engineered and certified to SAE J328 specifications. <website> No affiliation.

Considering that their cheapest wheels start at about 800, and these are a specialty series I am willing to bet a set starts at $4k and goes up from there.

Gushy,
These are truly custom wheels, unlike many of the other companies that just cut up existing Fuchs, so they will indeed work on a 951, and not just the early offset cars.

Hey guys..
funny that I stumbled across something the same day as this thread.
VERY GOOD priced Fuchs replicas...available in 7x17 in black, chrome, or polished.
CIP1 is a good VW supplier and I have their big torsion bars in my 944 (so does Shawn/refresh951).

Yea...that's $600 for a set of 4.

The finish on the ones I saw was really bad and iirc they also looked odd. They were on a VW in quite a large size, maybe it was a illusion but the center part of the wheel looked too small, and the outer rim looked too big, for the size of the wheel. It was like they copied the center of a 15in Fuch and made them 17in by adding a huge rim. Owner said they were a year old but there was visible pitting in the polished portions and on the black portions the paint was peeling. Told me he wished he'd saved up for a real set and I'm guessing they don't have any value on the secondary market, so you buy them, you keep them.

The later factory Fuchs directly from OEM are around $2k a set, but only in later offsets and in the more "modern" Fuchs styling (which I'm not keen on). Unfortunately, you are probably going to be close on your guess for the Fikse. I have a set of their regular series FM5 wheels and they are of exceptional build quality.

This might be a good time to buy a set of the new style Fuchs as the €uro is almost at parity to the US$, though it seems that Fuchs(US) has not adjusted their pricing. Fuchs(DE) shows the price for the smallest 17in wheel as €529 (incl 19% VAT), so for export they would be around $430 per wheel. Fuchs(US) is still showing the price as $698 per wheel on their website.

But the ones in my link (unless just a stock photo) look "proportional"
