Found the cause? What is the situation with other bearings? Is epoxy on intake ports still on there or was it sucked in on that cylinder?

You said earlier the upper balance shaft had a bad bearing. Do you think maybe there's a connection there? Maybe it was allowing oil that was supposed to go to the #2 rod to just escape back to the pan?

Scrape the nasty oil funk out of the hole around that broken stud and let it set in penetrating oil for a couple day, take a hammer and tap on it ever hour you can for those two days. Then clean the blocks deck and place down gorilla tap or something of the same to protect the block and use a really nice pair of vise grips and work the stud back and forth for as long as it takes to start working it loose. After it starts to loosen up you can work it out slowly by using a loosening and tightening method.

So small uppdate, getting a bunch of parts cleaned and coocked this week, and getting the last stud out.
Voith here sold me a nice cranc, Ian at 944online sold me all i need for my block in pump`s, bearings, seals etc.
H-profile rods are ordered, the engine block will get nikasil treatment and some new pistons.
I also got an 71 degree thermostat.
But the question, what turbo schould i choose? Holset HX super 35 ? Garret GT3576 sith Tial house?
Borgwarner S-200sx or EFR?
Im aiming at 450 whp and a good long powerband.
