to see that all cylinders are in the same area regarding temp. If one cyl is of by 50-100 deg something is wrong on the fuel/ignition side.

Oh that makes sense. In the past I though individual sensors on the header primary tubes were o2 sensors for ITBs, is this also possible?

why sensors on itb? You only need boost and temp inn.
