With my 2.5, I buried the speedo to the point where the thing was almost pointed directly down. Dumped file. Only an actual 150-153.

Equipped with a K-27 #6 and chips I was radared at 168 mph and had just entered the begining of redline. You need to change gears in the diff to get past the 170 mark. My speedo actually read 176 mph but the radar proved otherwise. Reno

951 S -> 164 mph stock

but if your 951S can hold boost on the fifth gear and take it all the way to the red line, you should see 175 mph actual speed with 265/35 -18
but in stock condition it is unlikely.

I've seen almost 160, w/a little left- it was still pulling- the tach was dead-on where it should have been for the speed- I've broken 150 numoerous times, but never had the chance to open it up COMPLETELY- The highest I've heard is Scott Gomes- he's hit close to 210 in his car- not sure the EXACT #, but, he's definately broken 205... I believe that was somewhere near 8000rpms... would have to do the math, but, Scott builds some pretty wild engines...

Dfastest- what did you do for the gearing? Was that MUCH taller RD w/taller gears, or w/higher revs, etc....? Just curious...

BTW - 41 mph over the posted is a misdemeanor in IL. Misdemeanor= 1 yr in jail. FYI
