Plus Tim's customer service and super-helpful knowledge are unprecedented as far as tuners go! I love my Tial 46mm and the adapter pipe Tim supplies is top quality. If your thinking about a Tial wastegate purchase, by all means, buy it from Tim and you will be a very happy customer! Plus Tim has got a bunch of other goodies for your 951!!!! Speaking from experience( a stoked repeat SFR customer)

Hey Tim, did you mean that the 38 mm is the same as the 35mm HP? You typed "the 38mm is the same as the 38mm HP". Or is it just the spring rate thats the difference between the two and the size is the same?

Regards,

For those that were unaware..... MySwiss is selling the plates that I designed and created. He just bought a set from SFR and knocked them off (which he admitted to in a thread earlier this year) because he could not come up with his own ideas. So........ if you want to support somone that is a theif and a crook then go ahead and buy from Myswiss!!!!!!! To make it an even easier decision though, we will match whatever price Myswiss is offering. Take care.

Copying for resale is not cool !

I run a Tial 35mm HP with 1 bar spring, works very well

This is not happeneing again Tim. The exact same thread was taken down in May.

In order to keep this thread on the same original subject, I will only respond once to Tim's accusations

First: I never bought Tim's plates. I never even purchase anything from Tim.Cause I never could justify the price he was asking for the products he offered.

I was in the process of doing an installation of a 35mm Tial with these plates for my Dad. When he showed me what he had bought for 160$ Plus shipping), I realized that I could manufacture these for less and with better quality control, and therefore a better fit.

If Tim's plates could not be improved upon,my plates would not be out there. Same goes for after market Turbo Twist wheels,Charlie Arms,Fab car Arms,Turbos,Racer's edge bushings, and on and on. You think, all of these guys don't take a look at the competition's products before they manufacture their own.

Second: If you are overcharging for most of your products, that is your business.By having this price war, your only admitting to your past and present customers ,that they were not getting a fair deal. Count yourself lucky you got away with it for so long.

"Copying for resale is not cool" I could not agree more. But taking someone's (Porsche,BBS,Momo,Charlie Arms, fabcar Arms,or Tim's) not patented products, and seing the potential to improve upon it at a lower cost,is not unethical .

Customers, now have a choice, and as far as I can remember, that is the way America was built.

Myswiss aren't you in Canada? If so then you get an extra .35 cents on every american dollar! Not bad, 1,000 u.s. is 1,350 canadian! Pretty good situation for you.

When we buy in usa we pay in us currency. Tial the last time i looked it was an us based company, so when we purchase from a us company it's costing us 350$ more for the same purchase.

Jsonnen. It's very simple. we have a warehouse in the US and one in Canada to better serve our customers. We have low overhead, and are not as greedy as others. That is how we stay competitive.

Extreme PSI is a company that regularly sells Tial 38mm and 46mm wastegates on Ebay. They're asking $215 US for the 38mm with your choice of spring and $25-40 for flanges plus $12 shipping. I emailed them about a 46mm and they quoted $455 including flanges and hardware with choice of spring plus $9 shipping to NC. I haven't done business with them yet, but their email response was prompt and professional. sales@extremepsi.com
