Porche versus bike - CBR600
Well I remember us having a heated debate about Porsche versus Bikes.
Here I am and I have done it - I bought a bike and before you all say I am insane I can now compare directly my 951S to a CBR600F performance wise.
We have not got a chance in acceleration versus bikes like this - never mind fireblades and such. This bike demolished 40-120mph so fast it took my breath away. I shat my pants. It's simply just brutal once you hit 8K rpms - all the way to 13,5rpms.
My friend was following me in my Porsche and he just just disappeared.
However once at 140+mph - it become a nerve wracking experience on the bike I thought I will be blown off and decided I play this game no more - Porsche caught up with me and passed at 160mph+.
I thought this might be an interesting read.

A friend's brother has an R6... he once said he'd love to race me, I said no way until I've got some more goodies under the hood... wonder what it'd take to serve him his *** on a plate, huge turbo and 20psi might go pretty far already

I have owned several bikes. The last one was a 2000 Suzuki GSX-R750. It had 143 bhp and went from 0 to 200 km/h in a good 8 seconds!
I don't think you have to try to keep up with a supersport bike (CBR600/R6/GSX-R600 and up) with a modded 951. They will laugh at you!

I've raced an array of cars in my R6. Wow is that bike quick. It took so much abuse that it isnt even funny. The sound it made at red line was great. The bike usually came alive after 3k rpms. After that it just kept pulling and pulling. But the only problem is about racing at top end with the bikes is the driver. The driver has to have no fear, and a real good driver.
Simon, that bike is hot though. Your going to get a ton of looks from people when your driving it.

Off the line don;t even bother, but a good street start (rolling start) you might surprise some bikes out there.
I certainaly have
"damn dude!!! I have never had a car keep up with me or even stay close to me " Quote from a Ninja 900 that I stayed pretty close with on a 2nd ,3rd gear run.

have a modded zx9-r car doesn't stand a chance anyday, however cruising at 120mph with the air on listening to your favorite discs does have its merits anything over 120 and over on a bike definitely requires your attention then theres that occasional gust of wind potholes asenine drivers, volvo driving soccer moms
Much safer in the car !

Not the same age (the F4i is new)... but I ran my 87 VFR750 against an 86 951 ~ off the start I blew it away (duh?), from a rolling start from about 30mph I walked away slowly till around 120. This was on a 92hp bike with a total weight of about 800lbs.
Funny, I keep having dreams of my being caught in the car that's just burst into flames and burning alive. I'm selling the car and keeping the bike. I've survived 9 years of riding (about 120k miles), 4 100mph+ getoffs and the average soccer mom driving her ovlov (volvo in MC slang), minivan and now SUV.

Also graphics are different for European markets - bigger CBR logo.
