Smile 944 Turbo Front Struts (Australia)

Team,

I'm in need of a replacement set of front struts for my 944 Turbo. There are plenty online for 944's but not for the Turbo's. Can someone please steer me in the right direction so I can purchase a new set or a good set of second hand units?
I'm not looking really looking for race standard just good quality for a daily drive?
New or good quality used would be great!

Please PM if you can help!

Calling Lart on this matter. All it takes is to mention his name, he will respond. He probably just felt his name get posted here thru his Jedi skills.

Mate if you have the coin, i would recommend KW V3 all the way. They are amazing for daily. probably smoother than what came with factory and when you go for a spirited run, the shocks will stiffen up and it will turn better than it ever did.

If not, the Kony double adjustable are great. I had them also, not as smooth as the KWs but still great.

Why not get the Koni yellow sport inserts off ebay, takes a few hours to fit they are adjustable, have used them they are great on the street on their softest setting (I have a cab so to much stiffness is not good)

If you're looking for a complete Koni strut, any of the sealed Koni struts, whether for Turbo, NA, S2 or 968 will bolt on. The S2 and 968 will have a smaller lower spring perch because they used a different spring but they'll still work if you us the accompanying spring or switch it to something like our adjustable ride height kit. Buying the 8641-1414 Sport insert may be the best way to go though.

The Koni 8641-1414 Sport takes that into consideration. Here's our DIY Tech Article on installation:

I have only used struts but if budget is not an issue I personally would go with the Paragon kit best buy for the money.
