Default 2015 Championships Clean Sweep

Yesterday , Sydney Motorsport Park ( Eastern Creek , NSW Australia) ,Motorkhana round 4 ( Autocross) , last round for the competition season & this last event would decide the winner of two of the three Championships ( it was that close )

A ) Drivers Championship ( combination of points earned in both Supersprint & Motorkhana)

B ) Motorkhana ( Autocross) Championship

Note } The third Championship ( Supersprint Championship ) was decided two weeks ago at SMP south circuit where a friend & customer of our's Harry Polis in his 1984 944 NA won the Supersprint Championship for 2015

By the end of yesterdays Motorkhana event , Sean Buchanan in his 1986 3.0L 16V 951 won the Motorkhana event outright & this gave Sean enough points to win the Drivers Championship for 2015

Fred D'Cruz ( friend & customer ) in his 1983 944 NA came in 2nd outright for the day & in doing so gained enough points to win the Motorkhana Championship for 2015 , this is quite something because there are no power to weight classes in Motorkhana & these guys are up against last century 911's ( all versions) , Boxter/s , Cayman/s , 996 , 996 Turbo's , 997, 997 Turbos , 991 , GT3 , GT2's etc etc etc etc

So we have }

Drivers Championship = Sean Buchanan 951

Supersprint Championship = Harry Polis 944

Motorkhana Championship = Fred D'Cruz 944

Well done guy's , big year , have no idea how you are going to top this one next year

Big thanks to all the volunteers in there club & a big thanks to John Vitesse for his help this year & Lart for some great help in 2nd hand 944 parts this year

Regards
Bruce Buchanan

So the 944 sweeps all classes! Surely they're going to kick them out next season?!?!
Congratulations to Sean, Fred and Harry. Great driving by all!

Nice work guys. Need to share some of your 944 magic over the ditch. I'm very keen to shake some of those Boxters, Caymanns and a very quick 996C4 S off their perches at the NZ Gymkhanas.

Sean has shared a few set up tips with me ... but I need more

Well Done Sean, Fred and Harry.

Harry particularly did some impressive times in his newly developed 944 NA + it was driven very well.
