I think there's an oil pressure hole in that section for the longer cam nose in the 928, might not be so easy.

It fits perfectly in my chassis... but for a later car you'd want to modify the wiring boot to clear.

Got my new to me SFR 16V turbo intake a couple days ago off evilBay and have been messing around with it(to whom it may concern big thank you!). I will need to make an adapter plate but thats easy, I already asked my brother to make it for me (using the EASY button!). Also the LR fuel rail I have for my 8v setup only needs to be flipped around and have LR 16V mounting brackets ordered for it.
Things I still need to do:
Make intake adapter,
Have crossover welded,
Have the LR header bolt holes match the 928 S3 head,
Order fuel rail mounts,
Cut valve reliefs in turbo pistons,
Have new exhaust valves made,
Check into valve springs,
Order an intake gasket for an 86 928 S3 and a 968 intake gasket (I found a 968 insulated gasket, I may get)
Order a fabspeed down pipe. Mark this off the list, order was placed on the 25th. My BDay present to myself.
Put it all together and see what else is needed. This is starting to turn out to be really cool.

Got my fabspeed downpipe today

Well I test fit the S3 head into an 85.5 944 I have with it’s 8v head off. I found that it will fit with the nub ground off the rear camshaft cap without rubbing on the engine harness. I mocked up my SFR intake also. I would upload photos but I’ve tried three times now but rennlist is having issues right now. I’ll post later when it actually works. Look there it worked. Sorry for the dirty parts for you OCD. I haven’t got that far yet.
