Default What to do with a 77 924

I have a 77 924, that I do not use.

I run the engine about once a quarter and take it around the block.

5 speed car and the A/C blows cold on R12.

I have owned since 1978, 144K miles, new rings about 20K ago, because I was in there, on 78 motor, rated 5 more hp.

The car is black with tan interior, replaced interior years ago, new non-P leather seats. The black paint will need to be refinished, all panels are straight.

I have had kids look at this car, but I won't sell, as there is no air bag to save them.

I thought about converting to an electric car, as these are low body weight. Maybe Testla can make the batteries work.

Time to Go. What are some options?

The 924 used a smaller torque tube shaft. So the whole torque tube and trans would need to be upgraded for the LS solution.

I think I will park it at the grocery store with a For Sale sign. And sell to someone over 25 yrs old.

Green... gross. I say gut the drivetrain and install one from a 944 turbo or 968!

Going with the pack
is quite monotonous.

Out of pure curiosity what are you going to ask for it, and post up a pic.

Nice 924s are really hard to find these days. There are people (like me) who like them, I'm sure someone will love to find that car.
