Default Motor Mounts...anyone try these?

A guy from Poland is selling these, and I need a pair in my car, so I am wondering people thoughts in terms of vibration, how these would compare to OEM.

They are made with Duraluminium 2017a, and use a polyurethane vibration isolator.

Would these be considered a semi-solid motor mount, and should I be concerned about cracking the fuel rail, oil pickup tubes, and a worse vibration then I have now @ idle?

Has anyone bought a set and have any further info, or stick with OEM and don't touch these again for another 20+ years?

Thanks all.

They look quite stout to me.

How much are they?

$150 shipped, price is right. It's the vibrations that will drive me mad, and I don't want to shake the 27 yo car around too much, bad things happen.

the vibration in your engine shouldn't change. It's the vibration in the chassis the motor mounts stop.

Semi solid. Any reviews? This is what I use: http://www.lindseyracing.com/mm5/gra...hockMountL.jpg

Very close to stock. Needed to lower the engine, so these worked well for me.

Sounds good and cheaper than $335/pr for the OEM mounts from porsche. I'll buy them shortly and throw a review back up on the boards, then make a quick video of a before and after with the mounts to show from a drivers seat POV how the mounts have lessened/increased the vibration at the steering wheel and interior rattling @ idle.

I looked into the meyle, but I really don't want to do this again anytime soon, and the reviews are hit or miss, but most folks don't do a 2/3yr-10/20k mile review on 98% of things like this so we are all left wondering the long term durability of cheaper mounts.

I have read
URO = junk
Meyle = a little better
REIN = OEM, impossible to find anymore
Porsche = OEM @ $161/ea plus shipping , good for another 20+ years
Lindsey Solid = Shake a filling out of my teeth, not for street
Lindsey Ultra = Pretty decent for street/track setup

Right, the motor mount suppresses the vibrations transmitted through the chassis from the engne.

Point taken.

they certainly look stout...well-made by appearances.
wondering what shipping from Polska to US is...

on another note, the 928 guys have a similar situation to us - Genuine mounts are nuts expensive, aftermarkets are mostly crap...they have their own semi-solids...they found that a Volvo and Ford engine mount work perfectly in their applications and are super cheap...i'd like to see if there is something similar for us

Rein mounts are OE porsche mounts with porsche numbers and sign ground off with hand tool. All else is 100% identical.

Hi, I purchsed a set of these and while they seem well made and good quality , the bolt would not fit through the aluminium engine mounts without enlarging the holes which I did not wish to do, so they went to the back of the garage to try another day and put some lindsey mounts on instead.
