Speed sensor for engine management is like eyes for humans.

You can spend 10k on uber engine management and if the sensor(s) is flimsy and misses, ECU will fail to control the engine properly.

I have Chris White front mount 60-2 sensor bracket FS if you want to go that route. Pm if interested.

Have it welded up, since the bores are nice you've still got a good starting point. That sensor has a large adjustment range on the bracket and will work fine after the repair, make sure your 951 bracket has the shielding for the speed sensor, if it doesn't you can get a new one + the sleeve from porsche for around $120.

If I recall correctly it was a head that I sold to you over 10 years ago when you used to hang around with your buddy special tool, and the issue wasn't about shipping, it was a piece of ceramic missing that I didn't see or your genius dad who couldn't put a hoist together might have damaged by cleaning the ceramics ports with a screwdriver to remove carbon built up, but what are you crying about? it was refunded and since them I have yet to sell another item to you, i have policy at larts see the pict

Have I ever not refunded anyone for a defective part on this forum or anywhere else? Let them speak now

Unlike the warped headers you sold me some years back for $250 which you would not refund! People in glass houses......

Why not? Its not the quantity that counts as op's problem clearly indicates.

If you are scared of $459 I'm not sure a 3ltr build is for you??

Not scared of the $450, just wanted to know how many extra HP I get for $450 plus $2500 in other engine management stuff. I'm not doing a budget build [grenade] here but I do have to keep the wife a *little* happy with me Anyway, I honestly just don't know much about dedicated engine management or what the advantages were, so just asking.

Thanks Will, Lart managed to find me one first. But if this one breaks I'll look you up Honestly, I just want to see Lart's packing job on it, especially after this thread It might be the most well packed engine block ever shipped UPS

In all fairness, the guy who sent the block did an extremely good job of shipping other parts I ordered. It's just a shame a block had to die.

I've gotten a bunch of parts from Lart and they've all been wrapped very well too. But anyway, mistakes happen, some UPS drivers are monsters, and it's how you handle those mistakes that matters. I'm getting a full refund and all shipping is paid for and stuff. So it's all good.

Just taught me a lesson not to under wrap engine blocks so going to copy whatever Lart does when I send this off to the machinist.

It's beer time.
