Default Porsche 944 Turbo Party Question

How many bolts and nuts are there in the 944 engine? I am tearing down the turbo engine, and the bolts are Everywhere!

I do not know the answer, but I have run out of little cups to put the various nuts and bolts in logical groupings. Is this a case of give them the car and charge for the bolts. LOL.

I know what you mean. I just bought replacement hardware for the engine and engine bay and it added up very fast.

ummm why not use zip lock bags. always put the nuts, bolts, washers with the parts you take off and label.

Actually, I do use the zip lock bags. The point was to show we need a computer match spreadsheet for where this bolt is used (or the multitude of zip lock baggies), and quantity. These are interesting engines.

No need for a spreadsheet in the back of every chapter of the factory manual tells you the bolt size, grade, location and their torque spec. Nothing special about these engines beside they are high maintenance. They are basically tractor engines.

I do not have a count for nuts, bolts and washers, in the 944 turbo engine, complete. I could ask for total weight of fasteners.

Any guesses? Big reward here. I will start with 491.
