Default Can you run the 951 through an automatic car wash?

I'm worried about all the winter salt corroding the underside of the car. At home I can wash the outside of the car with a bucket and soap, but to spray the underside I would need a hose. We have to turn off the outside faucets to prevent the pipes from freezing. The closest self service car wash is 30 minutes away and by the time I drive home the car will be full of salt again anyway.

How do you guys deal with this problem?

It will go through fine but just remember that they don't clean those whirly foam fingers so there's always a chance of light scratching due to previous car's dirt/salt.

If you can find a touchless automatic wash (just sprays water and soap at varying pressures) that is best.

And most touchless car washes have the undercarriage wash

If its a hose issue why not buy a sink to hose adapter? Most hardware stores carry them

The salt starts to eat the undersides over time. I see a couple at the shop from time to time when they are on the lift and I just shake my head at how rusted they get. Even the brake hard lines rust thru.
My baby stays put in the garage until Spring.

How do I deal with it? Easy, just live in a hot place where it never snows

Just pay attention to your ride height vs. the "track" that your wheels ride through. I have the M030 brake ducts in front that would snag on the track. PLUS I have 10" wide wheels out back and for some places, they're too wide to fit.
