Nice ride...I presume you are not going to install the badges? It's fun to keep them guessing till someone drops a "nice RX7"

It looks a little naked without it so I may put it on. Not too worried about what the civic / Mazda crowd thinks though lol. Though its funny when you beat people and they think to themselves "a damn Mazda was faster". Ignorance is bliss haha

On a serious note, I want to put the factory "Porsche" decal back on it under the tail lights. I can't remember what the color was originally, I think silver or white but a can't tell from the old photo I have. I may go with a different color if it suits the car. If you have this color on your car take a photo of your rear Porsche decal for me. Thanks!

I have silver on my Baltic Blue as that was factory and I think it would look great on your car.

I will see if I can find a pic for you.

I have the same color car. Will be contacting him soon to do mine. I am only a 3 hours drive. Sounds like a great deal. Thanks

My '87 is LY7U as well. The rear PORSCHE decal and Turbo script were black on '87 and up LY7U cars. It was silver on '86s. I switched mine to silver because I think it looks sharper.

KLR - you sure about that. I can't be positive that a previous owner didn't switch mine too, but I don't think so and my '87 has the silver script "Turbo" emblem.

Mine has a black emblem but I think my Porsche decal was silver before painting, trying to recall the time I sealed my tail lights and was up close to the decal.

Any who, if you have Bo paint your car post pictures, and I only live a few minutes from his shop if you want to compare or whatever.

The thing is, it was me my brother and dad who did all the work lol
