yikes...last I checked it was about $50 a cylinder here...bringing in the bare block.

Maybe the weight was reduced for the DMF and lighter rods ?

I think when all is said and done, the s2 crank with the harmonic balancer and solid clutch/pressure plate etc weighs the same as a 968 crank with pulley and dmf clutch setup. Something to do with harmonic balance.
