Yeah, re-using them would pretty much be the height of stupidity.
I thought people would have gotten the idea that i'm buying new valves as i said i took measurements for new ones.

But the Aussies put up a better fight against the Dutch than Spain did... how funny would it be if the defending world champs and 2 time Euro champs loose to Australia, and leave this tournament with three losses? But Australia will miss a couple key players due to yellows, right?

fun so far. I am now a Dutch fan, and that Mexican keeper - wow. game of his life against Brazil.

sorry for the off topic.

You could just toss em back in I suppose, but the engineer in me still says the bent point is a stress riser...just cant say for sure if/when it will become an issue. I'm crazy and a cheap bastard to boot, I'd at least consider throwing em back in and seeing what would happen if nothing more than for ****s and giggles.
This is the result, when in 1984 my Beetle suffered from a broken valve.

Wow, crazy carnage. And just to be clear, I was definitely joking about putting them back in, dropped valves cause all kinds of havoc.

Yes indeed, I remember, I got this engine as a technology carrier, but the Air cooled low compression pistons didn't came out on top due to the bad gas mileage...
