Vacations over...time to get serious and sell my 87'
$12k BUYS IT! If you are interested talk to me..
racerxrick@gmail.com
I showed the car last weekend (he just wasn't going to be a P-car owner) as well as a couple local flakes and realize now how much I would really prefer to sell this car to a Rennlister/enthusiast!! Plus I DON'T want to advertise on Craigslist...ugh.
I had this ad up and other than a sign at Cars and Coffee just haven't worked hard to sell it. Vacations are over and frankly I want to do cam, headers and maybe even supercharge the Vette. It's hard to justify that while still hanging on to the 951. I've debated this in my mind for quite some time.
My 951 is in very nice condition and I have had all the major services completed plus upgrades...and the A/C is cold and the car is fast and reliable.
Approx. 150k and I have a ton of receipts (of course). The car was freshened up late in the first 100k and then I have rebuilt the top end and upgraded the turbo. The only dyno pull was low boost (14.7psi) and there were a BUNCH of vacuum leaks and other assorted issues at the time. She put down 299.8 rwhp at low boost with the issues. Those were all solved and I typically run 17-18psi now...you can do the math. It should be maxed out for the stock AFM system (which btw performs flawless and idles and drives around town cool on 100 degree days. The car pulls HARD as a new Camaro SS found out on the way back from Cars and Coffee the other week.
Original paint other than one fender. Cruise control works rarely, remote hatch is not functioning. The torque tube has always rattled some in neutral with the clutch out (obviously it goes away with clutch in). I haven't measured the clutch but it holds solid. Interior is nice as I would give it a 8/10. The sunroof works fine. Exterior the same (8/10). The windshield washer reservoir is cracked. The dash is cracked though I do have a dashmat in place. The car presents very well in person and photograph!
The car has been VERY reliable and idles in traffic no prob with the A/C on. She has only left me by the side of the road once when I blew a headgasket. After that is when I had the turbo upgrade performed along with a rebuilt cylinder head, welded and coated header, timing belt ,rollers, reseal, heater valve, venturi delete etc., etc.
This is the condensed list of mods. I can provide more details as I sift through receipts to interested parties.

Here are a few more photos...the car is tight, fast and reliable. I have toured in the car and it's great on the road.
Leaving for a few days in Florida so my email is best.
I sell cars so i have a number of ways to advertise the car though my choice is to go here first. I would really prefer the right person owned it and figured Rennlist gave the car the best opportunity for a good home!

A couple photos of the head after rebuild..and another of the turbo
Also the Weltmeister drop links I added to match the sway bars (much better than the originals).
Also the seats when I picked them up at the upholstery shop.
