Default 16V 3.0L Twin Pulley Turbo on E-bay

Just in case anybody didn't see this one:

Interesting engine and pics at the end. With a new EMS this could be a great motor.

I would have to agree with you there. Just the engine is worth that. Send the whole car to Chris White for a proper tune and EMS and you would be good to go.

I am not sure I can agree with you there. If you look at the pictures the car is pretty unfinished and rough. I also don't like that pimple on the hood for what I guess to be clearance for the cam wheel. You get some nice suspension pieces, wheels, brakes, and a nice long block. I would need more details on the rest. With that kind of potential, might need upgraded half shafts, for sure a refurbed Constantine super bearing prop shaft, and who knows what else.

Some interesting features...

"Remove the 6 splash (?) plates for better block cooling on 3L block" - any comment on this?

I always throw up in my mouth a little when I see a 2V intake on a 4V engine.

... agreed, it goes slightly at odds with the time that may have been spent putting that twin cam wheel set up together.

Interesting mix of really nice high tech stuff and then running a very basic engine management plus bolt ons system. The in dash stuff is "museum quality" electronics!!!

Note to seller - Don't leave the window net in the car when you are taking pictures of it to post for sale. window nets are only required for door to door racing......I would guess that its led a hard life!!!

The scans of Polaroid's might just date the build a little too.....

A lot of this car looks old because that's how long ago it was built. Look at the dyno charts. Not a lot of power for what it is. Didn't see the 550whp pulls but saw a few in the mid 400's.

It's pretty clear that this is a David Raines/Powerhaus build ......lol scrolling thru the pics ... there he is . Needless to say that he is one the best Porsche 4 banger builders next to Milledge. Fact. Retired a few years back.

His "only" 450 hp dyno sheets routinely outperformed other 550 whp cars from others.. plus his stuff held together

But what I always liked most about him he never pimped his work on various net forums with expert 100000 posts.........old school, deeds not words.

Nice price. EDIT:STEAL!

That ugly hood addition could be handled a little better though. Maybe 924 hood scoop.
