Default Is this an 044 Pump?

So this weekend, literally 2 hrs before a big 944 gathering, my car started loosing fuel pressure. Turns out to be a bad 044 pump. After some troubleshooting I found the pump making a intermittent grinding noise like a bearing has gone bad in it and it randomly seizes up. I am looking to buy one and found this at Summit:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/bch-61944/overview/

Can any tell me if this is the same as Bosch 580-254-044? They list the Bosch part number as 61944. I found a reference that says it is the same but I want to be sure.

Summit say 200 lph free flow and I think a 044 is 300 lph free flow?

If I buy it from Summit I will have it tomorrow as shipping is from the ATL and is free. TIA

No worries, I may go with a different pump (MagnaFuel). Rogue gave me some input. Still curious about this pump however.

Bosch Motorsports "044" fuel pump is quite possibly, one of the most popular aftermarket fuel pumps.

Capable of providing 300 LPH free flow and 200 LPH at 5 bar (or 72.5 psi) for up to 685 BHP. In comparison, the Walbro GSS341 255 "high pressure" fuel pump can support 390 BHP Note: Values calculated at 12V, 3 bar (43.5 psi) base fuel pressure, 2 bar (29 psi) boost pressure, 1:1 fuel pressure regulator ratio. These are inline fuel pumps, we recommend they be installed between the factory (or another aftermarket) in-tank fuel pump, and the fuel rail. The 044 may be installed in the fuel tank, but some custom fabrication will usually be required. In addition, feeding these inline pumps with another pump (in series), will boost the output of the Bosch 044 fuel pump even higher.

M18x1.5 inlet, M12x1.5 outlet

There are some counterfeit 044 pups out there, I would think that the one form Summit is safe but be careful about ebay pumps!

Just noticed it is $50 more than six months ago. That is a big price hike in a short amount of time.

If you don't mind spending the money, this is a nice pump that goes well with all my other Fuel Lab parts.

http://www.jegs.com/i/Fuelab/083/404...60#moreDetails

I am thinking about it just for the nice looks and packaging. I do wonder about the noise it makes in comparison to the 044, which is a damn noisy pump even with the factory condom installed.

I'm new to rennlist, but I can sell you the same 044 pump for 210.99 plus shipping and sales tax if in PA. It will be the correct bosch pump not a generic pump.
