great kill. it's too bad the attitude of the gt2 ppl was like that... how much power does your car make on 1.1 bar? pump gas? it is ok even in hot summer days?

OK, lets see if I can answer everyone in this post. I ran him up into fourth gear. The girlfriend was nice looking...actually she was pretty hot I guess. I'm kinda biased. My girlfriend is a six foot blonde southern California model with green eyes and measurements that would make Coca Cola proud. My brakes are actually stock rotors with pagid orange pads. I was going to upgrade but they work pretty damn good and I'm in the process of getting ready to raffle the car off so I'm concentrating efforts on that(Rennlisters get first dibs). My brakes are no match to his. After looking at my memory on my boost gauge, it was actually just over 1 bar, just under 1.1. I run that normally. The car is set up to run that continuously with no problems. I also only use race fuel as a precautionary measure. You can buy it right at the pump here so it's no hassle. Curt's Milledge motor, anyone know if he got it in the car and running? I bet it's seriously fast. I'd love to see numbers on it. His 3.1 just might get me in hp numbers but I'd still be surprised if he had more tq. I pull pretty damn hard. I'm actually going to run it again in Scottsdale as I'm going to bring it to David to give it the once over before raffling it off. The car now has 5400 miles on it. I dynoed it at 3000. It's even faster now and I just want to know by how much. I'll let you know as soon as I get it done. Maybe some of you in the AZ area want to meet up at the dyno shop. Let me know

Why selling such a toy ? Your numbers sound good to me. I actually had been thinking about going to Powerhaus a little later and building up a turbo like that. More of a track car, but street legal is always fun.

not bad... probably a GOOD thing he was on loose 245s otherwise things WILL break (isn't the stock tranny rated only up to like 325 or 375hp?? i mean, rolling / soft launch it's fine, but to actually push it??)

I'm not selling the car. I'm selling tickets to raffle it off soon. Going to donate a bunch of money to Positively Kids Childrens charity. Does anyone know dyno numbers on Curt's car?

The 3.1 L was dynoed at a little over 540 h/p and a tick over 500 ft./lbs. torque. The surprising thing about the torque is that peak torque is at 5000 rpm. This was @ 1.25-1.3 bar, w/intercooler in vat of 45~C water. I recently switched to 18" (mainly for future brake upgrade), but found the wider rear tires (265 P-zero asimetricos/245 Dunlop SP 8000's) to be a huge difference. I ran 11.85 on med. boost (17 lbs/1.16 bar). Better than anything I've had on high with the Dunlops. One pass w/ lots of wheel hop. Speed was only 124~. I tried to back pedal, but not able to eliminate the hop. Too scared for another pass. Once it starts, it's tough to stop. That does not mean it will always hop, sometimes it happens. Full tank and tools, too. I did not really want the P-Zeros, dated design, poor results when compared to SO-2's and 3's, But, they work hecka better than I would have imagined. Far more than the increrase in width. I'm speaking mainly of braking, turning, (crispness is probably due to the lower profile) and overall confidence. Huge difference. I can only imagine what a great set of tires could offer. 131 mph (w/245's) is the best speed I've had. That's with a total of 3 runs (maybe less) on high ( 20lbs.) boost. Tire pressure was 34 cold. The right cam and you can run less boost w/same or more h/p. Also, w/the 6 spd. your shifting 4 times in the 1/4. 5 spd is only 3.

I hear that Millege's dyno numbers are conservative but who cares, its the QM times that give the answer. I'll bet if you run the right tire and 20psi that car could easily be in the low 11's. Anyway, high 11's @ 17 psi is crazy fast. Do you have an 8 valve head? If so then why didnt you go with the 16V head? What cars ever give you any competion on the street/strip?
