I dont get why people complain about lag in a powerful turbo car. Sacrificing a little spool for more power is a totally fair trade in my book. Yes I daily my car through the city, and all that means is I dont need to be in boost. If im on the power, im either fooling around on back roads or making highway pulls. In both instances lag is irrelevant because I know how to u.s. a gearbox to keep my car in its powerband.

You would not be able to do that with those spaghetti arms of yours if the torsion bars were in place

Looks like the answer is no, you don't have torsion bars. I think the resistance and spring-back that you're feeling is resistance from the rubber bushing.

Without torsion bars, that rubber bushing should really be replaced with the polybronze bushings from Elephant Racing. Not exactly an easy install, but very well documented on their web site.

You didnt convince me, work on it!

So one of two things should happen now.

A- You can buy a set of front and rear springs, so that your car is balanced and will handle correctly ( race springs are cheap, like $70 a pair ). Bonus points for sending out the front struts to be revalved.

B- Just get a pair of 8" long 250lb springs for the front, so you can "stance"

I would like to keep the balance as it is now, just stiffen up front and rear. Since rears are 350rate and fronts i think 160rate, i could go rear 450 and fronts 200?
