See if you can find his address. Tell him to pay for the damage, or you'll press charges. Once cash is in hand, beat him within an inch of his life so he learns to never do that again... too bad in real life you cant actually do that

Oh, and I call BS on anyone other than Brock Lesnar punching through that window ... anyone who has locked their keys in the car and tried to break in through that window will tell you how hard it is to break... and then will recite the lecture the mechanic gave them on how it was the most expensive one to break...

Well, when youre paying for labor, a new part, and the metal trim that usually distorts when you remove it, it gets expensive.

Ebay and Pro-bono repairs are another story.

Wow, so the guy came up to your car, broke your window, and went back into his car.... while you were in it?

You didnt get out of your car to confront him and call the cops? Thats really bad for your self esteem man...

This is what actually happened....... You guys were racing and lost {not enough brake boost}. You couldn't back up your bet so he broke your window most expensive window which is more money then your bet.

You did one smart thing by escaping. Given your size you had no chance

???? I am starting to think that you need a new mechanic!

There is no metal trim and the window is held in by just the rubber molding. You can replace the window in 20 minutes without working hard. The glass itself is very cheap in the used market and the rubber molding is reusable. No sealant to clean up either!

By far the cheapest window to break in a 944. I would feel guilty charging more than $100 to replace that window.
