Default Crank scraper and windage tray.

Ordered crank scraper and windage tray from www.crank-scrapers.com three month ago, and it has still not turned up. While waiting for them to answer my email, and since I need this urgently, does anyone have a set for a 3.0 engine for sale?

I don't want to bash a vendor but...
I went over a year back and forth with Kevin Johnson at Crankscrapers. Never did get my product.

The later OEM oil pans have a crank scraper and nice windage tray built in. If you have a 3.0 engine, I'm not sure how you could significantly improve on stock. There is an article about this with pictures on my website.

I have an IJ 3.0L scraper, it was fitted to an engine but never ran. Shoot me a PM for details / pic.

Anybody else have experience with the RSBarn windage tray vs the Ishihara-Johnson piece? Big price difference.

I honestly don''t remember where I got it but I had to grind just a bit on it, used a feeler gauge to get it just a bit under 1mm, I also went BS Delete on the track car engine, and I added support to the pick up and return tubes.

Big difference between scraper and windage tray. Windage tray is far better and almost mandatory for a race engine....and yes, they are hard to get!!
BW - the stock pan has a crude scraper but nothing like a windgae tray.

BTW - I took a look - the RS Barn scraper/windage tray IS the IJ Crank Scraper product. Same thing, RS Barn must get them from IJ.

I doubt it, I have used a bunch of the windage trays and almost all are custom ordered to match the crank and rods. The windage trays were redesigned a couple of years ago the price went up...a lot!

Is this something that might be worthwhile while installing a scraper?
A pan spacer, to increase oil capacity, or a lengthened oil pickup to keep oil further from the crank?
