Don't blame the product. Blame the installer.
Also if you're using it because there's something wrong with car and you want to get rid of that issue with a MAF, well that wont work either.

I recently installed a M-tune and believe that if installed correctly on a prevoiusly good runnning car it will put a smile on your face!
You didn't state your problem...as others have said.

That said, I was contacted by the second shop, they had no real interest in troubleshooting the car. They sell stand-alone engine management systems, and even in their contact to me expressed that a stand-alone is the route they want to go.
IIRC, the car is running rich(?). I asked the shop if they had checked fuel pressure (extremely common to have a 3bar regulator running too high of pressure, I even state this fact on my website). I also asked what AFRs they were seeing, and what spark-plugs (and gap) was in the car.
These are questions that any decent performance shop should be able to answer. The only answer I received was that they didn't want to spend 10 hours diagnosing the car... I doubt it needs to be said, but checking those three things shouldn't take 1 hour.
I am happy to help troubleshoot the car. I will even send out a complimentary logger to help us with troubleshooting. By the shop on the other-end has to want to work with me.

I say the shop sucks!
Use Josh and find another shop. They just want to sell you their standalone.
There is plenty of proof on here that Josh's M-tune is a great product.
How much is this shop going to charge you to setup their product?
And what kind of dollars are you going to spend with them when you can get Josh's help for free.
I hope you get things working.

M Tune is a great product. No reason with a little troubleshooting that you cannot get it working. I do not think you will find any support better than Joshua.
Modding a 951 when you do not wrench is difficult and often leads to this kind of frustration. I would say you either need to get your hands dirty or find a mechanic who really knows these cars.

To OP, go ahead, spend $5k on a standalone, installation, tuning, etc... and still have the same problem.
If a professional 'mechanic' installs something and the car doesn't work, and simply blames it on what he just installed, he isn't a very good mechanic, IMHO.
Call Josh before you waste your money.
